Electronics Technology

Curious about how things work? Electronics is a branch of science and technology that deals with electrical circuits involving electrical component such as vacuum tubes, transistors, diodes and integrated circuits. The nonlinear behavior of these components and their ability to control electron flows makes amplification of weak signals possible. Technicians are able to install phones and home-alarm systems, fix commercial and household machines, troubleshoot and do computer repair, serve as a telecommunications and radio technician, and many more.

Electro-optics technology is one of the most rapidly growing technical fields in America today.
